Hotel Pickup from Bangkok Hotel

Your day begins with a convenient pickup from your Bangkok hotel. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic drive through the Thai countryside. Your guide will provide insights into the area’s historical significance and natural beauty along the way.

Journey to Kanchanaburi

As you travel towards Kanchanaburi, marvel at the lush landscapes, rural charm, and vibrant culture of this region. Along the way, your guide will share interesting facts and stories about the province’s role during World War II, setting the tone for the upcoming historical visits.

JEATH War Museum

Arriving in Kanchanaburi, your first stop is the JEATH War Museum, dedicated to the Death Railway's construction. Learn about the immense hardships faced by prisoners of war forced to build the railway during the Japanese occupation. The museum’s exhibitions are both moving and educational, offering a deeper understanding of this dark chapter in history.

War Cemetery

Next, visit the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, the resting place of thousands of Allied soldiers who died during the construction of the railway. This peaceful, serene site is a place for reflection and paying your respects to those who lost their lives during the war.

Bridge over the River Kwai

The iconic Bridge over the River Kwai awaits next. This historic bridge, built by prisoners of war during WWII, stands as a symbol of both suffering and resilience. Take time to explore, capture some photographs, and learn about the bridge's critical role in the Burma Railway.

Lunch at a Local Restaurant

After a morning of exploring the historical sites, enjoy a local Thai lunch at a nearby restaurant. Sample regional specialties in an authentic setting, allowing you to recharge for the afternoon’s adventure.

Erawan National Park Trek

Now it's time to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. The highlight of the day is a visit to Erawan National Park, home to the breathtaking Erawan Waterfall. This stunning, seven-tiered waterfall is a must-see, with each level offering something unique—from crystal-clear pools to lush green surroundings. Take your time to hike through the park, enjoy the refreshing water, and simply relax in nature.

Great experience in a full day!

I had limited time in Bangkok so took this tour to experience as much as possible. The tour packed in a full day, from the history of the railway, walking across the Kwai river bridge, rafting and swimming in a waterfall. The tour guide and driver were very helpful and made suggestions to get the most of the day. I fully recommend if you have limited time and want to explore Thailand ...

A pleasant experience

Aey was friendly and professional. Her English was good and she made sure we were comfortable, fed and hydrated throughout the day. The waterfalls were so amazing, my only advice would be to allow a little bit more time there instead..

Great for families!

The tour company was responsive and accommodating to our needs, which made it more personalized. Miss Lacharoche was very knowledgeable and kind. She was a great photographer and gave us enough time to enjoy each attraction. The beauty of the attractions was mesmerizing. The driver was safe and the ride was smooth and comfortable. Water was included and the lunch was delicious! Great tour!.

We survived, amazing

Tour guide Ms. A did an amazing job explaining Thailand culture. She was very personable and wanted us to get the best of our experience. The steps to the water crafting needs modification not safe. Overall I highly recommend Ms. A.

EXCELLENT TOUR!!! Puk and Mr Krit were right on time, and early morning pickup - but sooo worth it!! Totally recommend!

Tour guide Puk and driver Mr Krit were perfect hosts! From the time they collected us to the time they dropped us off, they kept us informed and shared local knowledge along the way. They accommodated a slight change to our plan to allow for the train ride which we sooo appreciated. Long day however very much worth it! Thankyou!! 🌻.
